When temper tantrums, anxiety, meltdowns, and anger are taking over your life I can help you learn that through play and skill-building you can calm your child. My clients experience peaceful confidence and are able to parent with wisdom and grace despite the circumstances. My clients typically feel less anxiety coming to therapy knowing there will be a structure in which we explore through play therapy techniques, art therapy techniques and then move on to a skill teaching time, so that they can control their emotions and behaviors as children and parents.

I do both online and in person therapy. In person is typically more effective but if you have a barrier to coming in person I can accommodate you. Play therapy and art therapy are best done in person. My office has room for kids to play, explore, and create so it is much more conducive to building a trusting relationship with kids and teens. Plus it’s just so much more fun to see people in person! DBT and CBT can be done in person and online. But like any relationship when you can see someone in person it’s personal and effective.
